Marchin' right along (March 2019)

Do you know what is excellent about March? It's starting to warm up, at least a little. Things are pretty slow and steady after the hustle of holidays and birthdays. And at the end of month, soccer starts!
Pop stayed in town a little after the baptism and taught some of my hooligans to play cribbage! At least, I think that's cribbage. It's always great to spend a little extra time with grandparents!
Sheridan was able to participate in a school choir concert. It's always fun to watch your kid learning to love something you really love. I was in choir in high school and found friendship and acceptance and a love of music. Making music with a group is a blessing I still enjoy when I can!
We got to see Jack perform in his band. This was his first year in band (he plays the flute) and he worked his tail off to be able to move from beginning band into intermediate band at the semester change. He found a love of the flute and gets positively giddy when he performs. We love watching these kids develop a love of music and performing!
Tyler tried to lay down on the floor and relax. He quickly became a jungle gym.
And then they smooshed him flat.
Fortunately, he recovered and we went to the movies. WE LOVED HTTYD 3. The whole series was great--maybe it even got better each film--and this was a beautiful conclusion. Go Toothless! This was also probably when Micah fell in love with Toothless as an alter-ego and may influence Halloween costuming.
Cole developed his own Spring costuming. This is Super Hero Rocket Man taking reusing and recycling to a whole 'nother stratosphere.
Cole ecstatic to be back in soccer. His fluorescent orange shirt really matched his fiery personality. He loved the running and kicking and competing. It was his jam.
Tyler coached Amelia's soccer team. It takes a patient, special person to coach kids' soccer. Amelia loved soccer....except for the running and competing part.
Her favorite part was being able to see one of her good friends that attended another school for the year. Thank goodness for soccer, bringin' friends together when their moms stink at setting up playdates!
