Thankfully, Two!

November 25th was rockin'.
But we'll talk about that further down.
This year, Henry's birthday was on Thanksgiving. It will be every 6 years. Welcome to your life, birthday boy! (at least it's not December 25th...that would be an even rougher holiday-birthday!)
He's 2. He didn't know any differently, so we did the bulk of celebrating on November 24th.
He. loved. it.
Who doesn't like waking up to a pile of presents (even ones so classily wrapped as these) and opening a bunch of your favorite things (cars, trucks, wagons, toy story and nemo stuff)?
He was in heaven. That smile stuck around most of the day.
The ooooh's and ahhhh's were hilarious. See that cute dimple? From Tyler. This pict bears striking resemblence to picts of Tyler at 2. CUTE!
Henry smiled most of the day...and spent a lot of his time in this little wagon from Grammy and Pop. He couldn't get enough of the thing! Luckily, his siblings enjoyed carting him around in it. (Here, he's totally thinkin' "Dude! Get a move on it already!")
And, of course, what birthday would be complete without a marvelous cake? He LOVES Nemo, so it was the obvious choice. I was finishing up the decorating before dinner (only the orange was piped in), when someone thought it would be a good idea to show Henry the cake. I'm not namin' names or anything. This led to IMMEDIATE demands for "Nemo take! Nemo take!" (aka "Nemo cake") and screaming fits. Ah, welcome to 2 my little man.
He was not disappointed by the rich chocolate cake and cream cheese frosting. YUM. He still asks for "Nemo take" when he hears it's someone's birthday.
The next day was Thanksgiving. Yum again. We enjoyed a DELICIOUS feast at Tyler's sister's house with the whole Vigue family that's out here.
And since it was really Henry's birthday, we got to sing to him again (this time with my mom's cheesecake. More yum.). He was a little disappointed that it wasn't "Nemo take". Poor kid. But, he played along and blew out the candle and had a lovely night.
A good time was had by all.

Your kids are so stinking cute. I haven't seen you in ages I guess because Henry looks totally grown-up.
